Habitat: Occurs in high montane areas. Found throughout Kern County mountains. Range and speciation unclear for all but callipeplus, museum records have frater, sequoiensis, and speciousus subspecies overlapping. More investigation is needed to determine if there is actually a difference in subspecies.
