Pavo cristatus This Asian species is not breeding without the intervention of humans. a flock lives at Hart Park and is sustained through supplemental feeding and natural food sources. The species breeds without benefit of human help.

Psittacula krameri

700-1000 birds throughout Bakersfield

Successfully naturalized in Bakersfield. Small nesting colonies fly to communal roost each night. See Parrot Project of Bakersfield for details

Meyer's Parrot (I) Poicephalus meyeri single bird observed 2001 seen with Rose-ringed Parakeets at Bakersfield roost
