Waiver of Liability:

I know that running/walking a road and off-road event is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run/walk unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of the race officials. I assume all risks associated with running/walking in this event, including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, effects of the weather, traffic, and conditions of the road and trail.

These risks and any others are known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of acceptance of my entry, I waive and release the Spring Nature Festival, Run-4-A-Way, all sponsors, and representatives from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising from my participation in this event, even though such liability arises from negligence or carelessness on the part of persons named in this waiver.

I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.

Time: 8am-10am (kids' race before adult race)

Course: The 10K, 5K, and little kids' race will all be run on part of the Whiskey Flat Trail.

Fees: 10K  / 5K = $30 ($35 after April 27th); Kids' Race is Free! (must be 9 or under). OR bring in $35 in personal sponsorship and your entry fee is waived, and you get a same day, one hour free raft trip! Make it $35 (in personal sponsorship) and you and a friend both go rafting!!! Sponsorship: Get family, friends, businesses, etc. to sponsor you in accordance with the distance, speed, or event that you run. See form here. All proceeds go to benefit Run-4-A-Way, a local, non-profit community organization.

Prizes: All paid/sponsored entrants receive an event T-shirt. Medals for first, second, and third places will be awarded in the following classes: Male and Female divisions: 9 and under (kid's race); 9-12 yrs; 13-15 yrs; 16-18 yrs; 19-35 yrs; 36-49 yrs; 50+yrs

Registration: check-in/last minute registrations

Check-in: 7:00 to 8 a.m., Whiskey Flat Trailhead / start area (end of Burlando Road, Kernville)

Start: 8 a.m. from Whiskey Flat Trailhead, Kernville

Parking: Limited parking at trailhead and private residence close-by. Free shuttle bus (before and after) from the Odd Fellows Hall, just northeast of Circle Park in Kernville.
